The first arm of the Awspire brand was started in 2007 to launch a new level of music production and composition. The first endeavor was producing for Gospel superstar CeCe Winans on her 8th solo album; Thy Kingdom Come. Awspire’s Lead producer; Chris Capehart Executive Produced the project as well as produced three of the albums songs; “Ill Live For You” , “Oh Holy Place” and the hit single; “Waging War” . The album went on the win a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel LP in 2009, and hit #1 on the Gospel Album charts. Currently the album has sold 3 million copies worldwide.

Blazing the trail to inspire real people through music, Angel Taylor is bridging the gap between R&B, Gospel, and Pop music for an all-inspiring crossover experience. Reminiscent of the soul-quenching music of the '90s. Angel provides a soulful, loving and fulfilling experience that is often searched for but seldom discovered. Longing for the feel-good sound, Angel is creating a getaway from reality that inspired her to create music. Growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana singing in her Southern Baptist choir is what introduced Angel to the impactful Gospel messaging and sound that she would later incorporate into her own music. Gospel is in her roots, and growing up singing in her church choir set the standard for the most important piece of her life, her relationship with God.
